This course provides a hands-on introduction to programming and data analysis using Python. You’ll start with foundational programming concepts, including data types, operators, and control structures, before progressing to practical applications in data manipulation and visualization.
Using powerful libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib, you’ll learn how to clean, process, and analyze datasets. You’ll also gain experience in visualizing data through charts, graphs, and reports, helping you communicate insights effectively.
Throughout the course, you’ll work with Jupyter Notebook to document your code and present findings in a structured format. Whether you're looking to enhance your career in data-driven fields or start working with Python for analytics, this course provides the practical skills needed to solve real-world data challenges.

| Accreditations: | NOKUT-accredited. Approved for loans and grants from the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund (Lånekassen) on a part-time basis. As long as you take fewer than 30 credits per semester, you are considered a part-time student by Lånekassen. The requirement is that the study program must last at least one semester. If you wish to apply for financial support from Lånekassen, you must therefore choose the part-time study option. |
