AI is used in a two-fold approach to support learning. You are encouraged to use the technology as a tool in your studies while also receiving training in its ethical and responsible use. During your studies, you will have access to cloud-based tools to develop and test models and learn how to apply the technology to practical tasks. The goal is to provide you with a solid understanding and the necessary tools to use AI safely and effectively.
In the workplace, AI is becoming increasingly important and is being integrated into many of the tools used across industries. The technology is used to analyze large data sets, filter firewalls, stop suspicious traffic, and provide customer support through chatbots. While the program does not cover these specific areas, you will gain insight into how to use generative AI models in Azure and how the technology can enhance efficiency and solve technical challenges.
Technology is advancing rapidly, and the demand for processing power, performance, storage and accessibility is increasing. Many organisations are adopting cloud-based environments, which is driving the need for qualified personnel. This programme is designed for those who are interested in ICT and want an education that leads to strong career opportunities.
Throughout the programme, you will work on practical and relevant tasks while developing skills in collaboration, project management, creativity, research and report writing. You will also gain knowledge of on-premises and cloud-based operations, infrastructure management, server services and the use of AI as a learning tool. The programme aims to make you independent and effective in a multidisciplinary environment.

After this one-year programme, many are ready for employment. For those who wish to continue their training in IT security, there is a seamless transition to the second year of the Cloud Security and Infrastructure programme.

The first semester of the program provides practical understanding of principles, methods, and techniques in the operation and administration of on-premises network infrastructure and server environments. You receive comprehensive training in the installation and operation of network devices, Microsoft-based and Linux-based servers, in addition to a holistic approach before a possible migration of environments and services to the cloud.
In the second semester, you delve deeper into the cloud-based environment, learning fundamental elements of various cloud services and security.
AI becomes a crucial learning tool throughout the program, ensuring you always have a "personal teacher" to consult with, making you better equipped for the industry that is constantly evolving.
Each semester involves working on a comprehensive semester project with interim submissions. The semesters conclude with a final submission of the semester project you have worked on throughout.

To qualify for the program, you must have general study competence or vocational education with a professional certificate. It is also possible to apply based on recognized prior learning.
