In the first year, you will learn to plan 3D projects and build, colour and light simple 3D models. Eventually, you'll be able to create and deliver advanced 3D products while developing systems to animate objects. You'll also receive a thorough introduction to game technology, content production and professional working practices.
In the second year, you'll choose a direction in which to specialise, with guidance from subject tutors. You have the opportunity to specialise in many different areas, such as game designer, level designer, virtual or augmented reality, special effects for games or 3D generalist. The programme ends with a capstone project and a portfolio that you can use to present yourself on the job market.
